Introduction

This electronic portfolio provides a narration of the overview of my graduate training in Social Work (MSW). It portrays the development of a chicken: from being an egg to a chick, to a mature hen and the warmth, humidity, ventilation and turning it received from the mother hen for growth. It is the opportunity for me not to forget where I started, where I have reached and where I am going. This site gives you a preview of my pre-MSW knowledge, my MSW journey: learning, development and growth and my on-going journey in Social Work. I particularly reflect on my learning about Mindfulness and Relaxation Practices, which was new to me and has become an integral part of my life, especially in maintaining my physical and mental health.
A journey full of new learning from living in a new country, in a new culture, and among new people marks a new life. I believe this learning will undeniably help me to become a change agent in the lives of the people I work with.
